My Philosophy
What started as a hobby in 2001 has now become an artistic expression of who I am and what I want to tell the world.
I hope that my work brings a smile to your face and a realization that beauty can be found in simplicity as well as extravagance.

My Inspiration
The use of bright colors as well as transparent tones allows light, the true source of my inspiration, to play in my pieces.
It's fascinating to me that the process of using the torch flame and kiln heat produces objects that beg to be touched--after they've cooled, of course!

My Therapy
I like to joke that my hobby is cheaper than therapy. Funny thing is, creating visual art can be therapy for a soul that needs to express itself.
The beauty of this craft is that the finished product can be realized fairly quickly. Even if my schedule only allows for an hour or two to work on glass, I can still produce something of quality.

My Priority
My full-time job is being a mom to my two kids, Anna and Luke, and a wife to my husband, Jim. While I'm no "Susie Homemaker" by any stretch of the imagination, I feel true joy in my heart and wouldn't trade my life with anyone.
I thank God for the privilege of being home with my family, and also for the opportunity to explore and produce this craft that brings me so much satisfaction.
